Members will be sad to learn of  the death at the age of 97 of Dr Neville Davis who was President of the Society from 2004 to 2006.  Until very recently he was acting as an expert witness and using Zoom to participate in the Society’s meetings.

Simon Readhead KC became the Society’s President on 1^st October 2022. He read law at Lincoln College Oxford and was called to the bar in 1979. He is joint Head of Chambers at Deka Chambers. He is also a Master of the Bench of the Middle Temple and authorised to sit as a judge in the criminal, civil and family courts. His practice includes clinical and other professional liability claims, indemnity claims, personal injury claims including industrial accidents and occupational diseases, product liability and health and safety claims and public and administrative law.
