Former Surgeon General of UK Defence Forces. He was appointed CBE in the 2019 New Year’s Honours list. After leaving the army, he was appointed as Professor of Conflict, Health and Military Medicine at King’s College London.
Proposing the toast to medicine: The Judge Advocate General, His Honour Judge Large
Served as a lawyer in the Royal Navy, later a criminal barrister and Head of Chambers. He was appointed Judge Advocate General in 2020.
